Class Overview
Have you always wanted to help solve a crime? CSI: Summer Academy is looking for the best investigators around to help solve the case of the murdered mayor and the contaminated creek. You’ll spend your summer digging up clues, identifying suspects and putting the criminal behind bars. Using different crime scene investigation techniques like fingerprinting, hair analysis, impression analysis, blood typing, forensic entomology and police log review you can help piece together the clues and close the case.

My name is Madisen Johnson, I am an 8th grade science teacher at Forest Lake Area Middle School, where I have been teaching for 2 years. I have a bachelor’s degree in Life Science Education and a masters degree in Educational Leadership, both from Minnesota State University, Mankato. I have a passion for science and nerd out when it comes to crime shows like Bones, CSI and unsolved mysteries and I also enjoy listening to true crime podcasts.
